I have taken the plunge after years out of the saddle and gone and brought:-

A 1999 Suzuki GSXR 750:D
Black and Red, has got the single seat hump as well as the pillion seat.
Datatooled up as well:)
Bike has done 12k with almost all documentation, years MOT and taxed until November this year.

Pleasantly suprised by the insurance quote of £270 3rd TPFT with no "no claims" for bikes.

Last bike I had was an old style CBR600, so this will take some getting used to.

Nice ride, enjoy it.

Keep it rubber side up though. If you are returning to biking after a few years break, take your time to get used to the power and handling.

Stay safe and enjoy!!. :D

haha rubber side up! That's flipping difficult but well done if you manage to keep it that way!

Lovely machine though, 750, yummers. I'm like a me who can't wait to get his bike back at the moment! And man, bikers keep flying down my road, and sounding damn nice agh!

/ninja edit

Ok, so I meant down. :)

How long have you been riding then?

To be fair, I hear it a lot getting mentioned on the AF1 Aprilia forums, mostly by Yanks, so maybe its a "Yank" expression. :D

Would have been more understandable in translation if I had said "Make sure ye dinae bin it intae a ditch, early doors". :p

I have been riding 20 years on and off.
Started out with an AR50, moved onto a RD125LC.:p
Then an RGV250 followed by a TZR250 (reverse barrel one if anyone can remember)
Back to a RD350YPVS then bought my mates ZXR750.
Finished off with the CBR600.

I intend to take it easy for a while, will have a couple of blasts to Matlock as it isn't far away.

Nice one.

I've been on two wheels pretty constantly since 1987.

Hmmmm.......although with an RSV Mille, "rubber side up" usually applies to the front Michelin in any of the first three gears in my case. :p
