Best smart phone with full qwerty keyboard?

Basically looking to organise my life a bit better and want to get a smart phone, however I don't know a thing about them!!! Previously I always got a phone on its camera/music abilities (hence why I was always a Sony Ericsson fanboy ).

My requirements are:

Full qwerty keyboard (but not the style like the blackberries have)
Sub 300 pounds if possible

Never thought about the bay. You could probably get a TyTn II off the bay for a reasonable amount, probably pushing your luck with a Touch pro though as they have only been out a week or so.

Xperia x1 on contract might be worthy although it isnt out yet (they're saying october on vodafone - about time I need my free upgrade!!!)

From my experiences with these phones on contracts blokes they don't come cheap. Tytn 2 contracts where the phone is free can be pushing £50-£100 a month for 18 months =0.

I reckon a Tytn 2 off ebay, the touch pros like stellios said go for £500 new or sometimes £600 on ebay so that's an unlikely candidate.

Nokia E71. £230 on pay as you go with 3, probably cheaper off eBay.

Slim, fantastic battery life, wonderful build quality, stable... just make sure you get the dark steel colour combination.

I really like the look/sound of the Touch Pro but will probably go for the Tytn II as its considerably cheaper, thanks for the help lads

I have a Stellar (aka TyTn II) cracking phone, perfect for Push.

Also take a look at the Samsung i780. It's a great WM6 phone to rival the TyTN II but a LOT slimmer (think iPhone size). I got mine for about £240 sim free (it was a return to an online shop).
