Hello,

Got the 64 bit edition of Vista premeum yesterday from OkUK, and managed to get it loaded in. Everything seems ok, with my extra 2 gigs of ram (now 4 gigs).

However, I'm on 175.19 drivers (WHQL), and set my cards (GTX8800 x 2) to "SLI", but when i run the Crysis benchmark I get 41 frames average in the standard 1280x1024 test (it's normally 59-61 frames in windows XP with SLI DEFINITELY enabled. So what's causing this?. I've unticked the "64bit" box in the crysis benchmark, and ticked the DX9, but it doesn't seem to be seeing my two cards.

TIA for help.

Vista runs game slower than XP or at least it did before the first service pack update, thats what i read and been told on these forums, even after the update some say it makes no diff, crisis is a game that runs better on XP

Yes, I was wondering though why SLI isn't enabled though (tried Colin mcraes DiRT out just, and WAY down on frames with that too, so it's a general thing not just Crysis). Vista 32 ran superb, and gave me 67 frames in Crysis (174.74 i think) so I may try those drivers now, but its a lond wind keep trial/erroring Drivers:(

Reload the drivers .

I had the same issue with my 280's sli in 64bit and reloading the drivers fixed it .

Its almost like load right or something .

Thanks Zoom but not sure what you mean TBH by reload. You mean "Reinstall the drivers", after uninstalling them?, like doing it all over again?.

TIA
