I know it's not ideal but the last thing we want is to be forced into a sale. It happened with Keane but at least we got what he's worth.

A player is only worth what a club is willing to pay for him and i don't see anyone else bidding 30 million for him

I haven't heard Man United bidding anything yet. Just paper speculation. He's still under contract with the option to extend that contract by two years if the club so wishes.

Spurs are suffering from what happened to us with Yakubu, we didn't want to sell, he wanted to leave, we didn't want to sell, he decided he wasn't going to give a damn, we had to sell for less than he was worth

Berbatov is worth £15m tops anyway. We're already over bidding as it is. Personally I'd rather not have him which would leave other players open and screw arrogant Levy and his 'mighty' spurs with a player who doesn't want to play for them, who will be ****ed at Levy and the Management for refusing his move and without the money you need to buy a good replacement.
