There is no P5Q Premium there, so he probably means the middle link (P5K Premium).

forgot to mention i need a board that has 2 ide connections like my current mobo i think both the boards cob recommended have only 1 IDE connector ? emm

You'll be stuck with the P5N-E SLI if you want 2 IDE connections. Intel did away with IDE on their chipsets, so manufacturers have had to bolt on a 3rd-party IDE slot, of which you only get the one.

You can, however, buy IDE to SATA convertors for peanuts.

oh well its no big deal i mean the price of sata drives are cheap anyway, i only have 2 IDE drives as this crappy board i have wouldnt boot probarly with a sata drive connected.

sorry for all the questions COB to use both ide drives on the boards you have listed is this what i need?

IDE to Serial ATA/SATA Y Splitter Power Cable Connector
* 100% new high quality generic (non-OEM) 4 pin Molex connecter to 2 Serial ATA Power Splitter Cable
* Quantity: 1
* Now you can use your high speed Serial ATA (SATA) drives with the original 4 pin Molex
* Connect one 4 pin Molex power connector to 2 15 pin Molex power connecters
* Accessory ONLY.

ive found some sites that sell the ide to sata connectors 99% are from hong kong which is no good and the other retailers are more expensive than a sata drive. so it make sense to buy a sata drive and just use one of my ide drives when i buy one of the boards
