Well i posted around a week ago that im starting a fitness regime up.

I want to start some body building so im getting a weights bench for the cellar, going to turn the cellar into a min gym for myself, put some posters up, get an extension for some radio maybe an England flag etc etc make it nice.

Im also gonig to put up my goals, my fitness regime, and my body sizes over the months, eg bicep, waist, chest etc etc

Ive been on the Bay this evening looking for a decent multigym/weights bench but cant seem to find anything to suit me, or for a decent price, i dont want to spend too much but id prefer brand new and with or without weights i dont mind as i can always purchase them later..

What i really need it something to fit a particular need, size...

My cellar is approx 5 and a half ft wide and around 7ft high so bar has to be able to fit in there nicely..

Does anyone know any decent benches that aint too expensive but are decent quality and that i could either buy online or go down to the local sports retailer to check out..

Any reccomendations will be looked at!

Thanks,

James07.

I bought a 'Marcy' bench from Ebay a few weeks back, and ive been well pleased with it, ive tried some of the cheaper ones from Argos, and they dont seem upto much.

what exercises are you planning on doing?

i guess you could turn the bench so thats its going corner to corner, that might give some more accessible space.

Is this what you have?

I want one of these £115 50kg weights.. ill probs buy more so i can keep some on the legs and some on the dumbells so i dont have to rearrange them all the time.

in that case, forget the bench, buy yourself a chin+dip station

do dips, chins, BORs, squats, RDLs and shoulder press

big powerful movements that will get you ready for rugby and putting on mass :]

I bought a power rack / bench / 145kg olympic weights set the other week, total cost £520

All you really need

How much will that set me back?

can pick up chin+dip stations from around £130 i would think, however, you might as well buy some bars and drill them into your walls, much cheaper option.
