Films that make men cry

I challenge any human being to watch Dancer in the Dark without shedding a tear.

To be honest, if you don't...you've got issues.

That's one of the greatest and saddest TV episodes for any show I've ever seen, where Kelly Cuoco gets to the door in her dress and breaks down :(.

Ditto.....I actually cried coz I loved John Ritter in that programme :(

ET

I thought I was a wus crying at films...most of which have already been mentioned...Green Mile, Forest Gump, Click (suprisingly), I Am Legend (where Will Smith kills his dog)..the list goes on....

I nearly cried at the end of 'Green Mile' I remember.
Strength in weakness. Are you too scared to cry??

Oh, the ending of American History X, where they show the beach and the seagulls and the two kids running together kind of gets to me too.

no one recognise this then ?, this has to be one of the saddest films ever made !!

The Green Mile - Saw "the line" that would do it coming a mile away ("Don't let 'em put me in the dark,") but even then couldn't hold it.

House of Sand and Fog - Ben Kingsley's wail as he "loses" his son is one of the most authentic displays of utter grief/terror I've ever seen.

The Girl Next Door - Not the comedy, but the recent adaptation of Jack Ketchum's novel. The ending hits like a sledgehammer.

The Butterfly Effect - Director's Cut ending where he kills himself so everyone else can have a proper life.

I've yet to watch Grave of the Fireflies, actually. Got it years ago but didn't tell the Mrs. what it was about (she's an anime fan, particularly the Studio Ghibli stuff). Arrived home from work to a barrage of abuse as she went through about two boxes of tissues.

Looks like animal porn to me.

ha ha, no, not quite but thanks for sharing how your mind works though :p.

Which film is this?

'Mask' starring Cher.

Watership Down.

Quite possibly the most traumatic "children's" movie ever made.

ahhh you got it, I agree with you whole heartedly, I challenge anyone to watch Watership Down without crying, I was depressed for a week after watching that film.
