Dragons Den...Magic Pizza

I very rarely eat frozen pizzas so probably wouldn't bother with one, but I agree that it's something that busy and/or lazy people would love and it could sell by the cartload. I wish the dragons who rejected it could see all the positive responses in this thread!

it buys 5 small pizzas that do not contain great nourishment for her sprogs.
found a guide for 3 11inch pizzas here estimated at under £6, and there wil be excess ingredients(meaning its cheaper next time) plus some can be axed all together, or downgraded.

But then she'd have £1 less to invest in her furniture and interior design business! Sod giving great nourishment to her sprogs! :D

Too much hassel on the wire rack, cant chuck it in and grab it out, too much time wasted when I could be EATING

Um, oven gloves?
Put the pizza on the wire rack (with a tray underneath to catch any drips) and then when its cooked you just pull it out with oven gloves, and slide the pizza straight onto the plate.
Job done.

I eat frozen pizzas a lot, and sometimes the centres of them dont cook as evenly as the outside. And i use a wire rack.

Id be tempted to buy one simply because i felt sorry for the guy, he was shaking like a leaf :)

Christ, I go one better...

Remove frozen pizza from box and plastic.
Spread out topping.
Add pepper, chilli flakes, a small drizzle of olive oil, dried mixed herbs, mozarella, stilton, jarlsberg, a sprinkling of onion gravy granules and sweetcorn.
Put in oven, on wire rack about halfway down.
Turn oven on to around 170.
When cooked, use pizza slicer to drag pizza forward off the wire rack, straight onto the pizza box.
Slice on the box.
Eat off the box.
Bin box, wash up slicer.
Win.

Did he get investment then or?

Yeah, Theo and Peter backed him.

Did I hear him say it was called a "Soggy Santa"? Or was it Soggy Centre? Hard to understand him reminds me of Andy from Little Britain, I was expecting him to say "YEAH AKNOW"

Brilliant. Because of his dedication on flying to India? I suppose they want him to reduce the units from 50,000?

Soggy Centre he said. Heh.

soggy middles only occur on stupidly cheap and nasty ovens.. Simple way is just to buy a decent oven. Which actually sets the temprature correctly and also doesn't heat just the top few inches.

However I can see this selling well. It's one of those gadgets I could see stupid people buying and then never using.

the only thing that confused me was that it looked like it was raised like a dome...

when you put a hard frozen pizza on top of it, would it not just drop off to one side?

we just put ours on the slatted shelf on the oven.

and cook with bottom heat and fan ;)

if you have a half decent oven, you won't get "soggy middle"
