I'am going on holiday to America next week and with part of the trip I'am going over to the Bahamas. Now I always think way to ahead of myself and asked my dad some details of the trip (family holiday). He advised me the details then it emerged that we will be going through the Bermuda Triangle.

Now loads of thoughts run through my head on what actually happens in the Bermuda Triangle, difference in temperature which creates a pulling force, conspiracy theories, aliens etc (watched x-flies so thought would put that in aswel).

Probably not an ideal way to try and deal with me being nervous but just wondered if anyone else has any theories on the Bermuda Triangle and such like. Believe in conspiracys?

Whats your views?

I'am not that intelligent. I do believe in conspiracies though. I've got quite an active imagination.
You're not intelligent so you automatically believe in counter-theories to things?

You're not just not intelligent, you are an idiot!

You end up on an Island and spend 8 series trying to get off the island and figure out what a black smoke monster actually is and why there are polar bears in the jungle.

So all people who have ever believed in conspiracy theories are idiots. It's not that I'am not intelligent. People can be intelligent in different catergories. You may know more about one thing than I do and vice-versa. What I meant is that I don't fully know what to believe and wanted to know if anyone else had theories.

I was reading about this last week. which in itself is spooky

Numerous official agencies have gone on record as stating the number and nature of disappearances to be similar to any other area of ocean.

That's cleared that up then.

The fact that you keep writing "I'am" instead of "I am" or "I'm" says to me, you are indeed, an idiot. :)

Booner...that really puts me off visiting there, don't fancy being there for eight seasons, four at a push. :p

And everyone gets bored and stops caring after the first season and a half.

Basically, the layout of the terrain in the area can be very confusing for aircraft that have for one reason or another lost instrumentation and their bearings, and this means pilots can often plot an incorrect return course, which takes them further away from landing strips/mainland.

Usually by the time they realise its too late, and the fuel is running out :(

However, this is pretty much a thing of the past, and i dont think its anywhere as notorious nowerdays as it ever was before.
