I think Liverpool spent too much on Keane, granted he's a goalscorer but surely you could've signed someone cheaper then would've had more money on a winger.

I agree on Keane though, we have spent too much on him. I value him at around £16m.

If it was roughly 10m I would assume it would have said in excess of 9m and not 8. I reckon its probably around 8.75/9m ish

We could afford Barry at 18m but he was deemed as overpriced so we didnt meet the 18m valuation for him.
I agree Gutierrez looks great from the early games we have seen of him, Id definately wish we'd bought him, Hes big, fairly fast, a character and a real hard worker, that what I want.
I dont really think we overpaid for Keane, hes a clever forward and will compliment the team in time as everything settles down, If he is worth less than 20m its not much less tbh, as said above we still have a fair bit of money to spend on a winger, Barry wasnt signed because we couldnt afford, Barry wasnt signed because it was felt he was overpriced, plus we didnt offload Alonso as origionally planned.

Downing > Quaresma.
