Geforce 177.92 + Physx 8.08.18

i dunno if anybody else is having any problems with these drivers, but i think i am :(
i've installed and restarted etc, but i ain't tried any games, but FireFox, Media Player and SideBar have all crashed so far tonight, and that has never happened before
It would seem strange for it to be graphics card drivers, but i havni changed anything else

If you get a lot of crashes with applications especially when they first run on booting into windows then its often an indication of faulty memory or the northbridge not getting enough juice/too hot.

just had a BSOD too:(

it nots when booting, it seems random

my PC has been stable for ages and this is the first time i've had apps crash for ages, and the only thing i have changed is graphics drivers

seems strange tho that graphics card drivers would cause it

Does anyone ever actually bother removing old drivers first?
I do. :)

Uninstall, reboot, driver sweep then install new drivers.

I had a problem a few months back on my desktop caused by installing drivers over each other which resulted in me having to reinstall.

ive only removed drivers if ive changed graphics card from one manufacturer to another, never really had a problem when upgrading drivers

I always driver sweeped to be safe as said above.

Add/Removed drivers, restart normally as it says, cancel the Found New Hardware Wiz, run Driver Sweeper (as it doesn't need to be ran in safe-mode and only takes about 2 seconds), then installed new drivers, how hard is that, about 2 extra secs won't kill yer will it. :p
