Anyone got a link to some RATM at Reading? I can't find it! :(

Comparing the Reading setlist to the Leeds I would say we got a better deal at Reading. Not that I would complain with anything they would have played :)

At Reading we got: Born of a Broken Man, Ashes in the Fall, Wake Up

At Leeds instead: War Within a Breath, Down Rodeo and Renegades of Funk

Would have liked something from the Renegades Album to be played at Reading but you can't have it all.

I was there at Reading watching them and that atmosphere was electric, everyone was totally buzzing and I thought overall they delivered a good performance. But goddamn if the speech wasn't the stupidest thing I've ever heard... seriously it was hilariously retarded. Oh well, I wouldn't adopt my political stance from a band anyway.

You'd be surprised at how many stupid little kids would though.

Thats the right way to go about it. It is possible to enjoy a band's music without agreeing with their ideas.

Sadly so. Kids are very easily influenced, especially when they are starting to become aware of politics.

if the truth is cringeworthy to you, then god help you as you will never ever get to know it.
:o

So jealous... How was Ashes in the Fall and Born of a Broken Man?

****ing awesome :)

I wouldn't say his speech was completley retarded he made his points and thoughts clear to people, if they want to take it as gospel then that's their problem. Agreed that anyone who adopts a political way of thinking from a band needs to go out and do some more research.

Didnt realise that fox had twisted his speech..

quite interesting. typical news channel though editing quite a lot.

Par for the course for Fox News really. They're nothing more than Murdoch's right wing sockpuppet plaything really.... not saying that other "news" channels are all that much better, but Fox are particularly good at this kind of nonsense.

Check the film Outfoxed for some interesting viewing. From the Michael Moore school of one-sidedness in a way, but as good as a kick in the clems for Fox really!
