hmm, altered core to 830 and grid would crash, fine at 795 and 1100 though, i think the previous modded asus bios was better.
Im running an accelero with 120mm fan strapped to it as well.
Are you going to be flashing back? How do you plan to do it? through winflash or from dos?
Here you go guys, enjoy!
ATIHD4870512MBOCX795-1100MHz.exe
edit: note that once you start the program it will automatically start the flashing process, it does not need winflash or anything as it comes in the .exe. So make sure before you click it to turn off everything (open applications running etc). Then restart computer once's its finished flashing.
willhub. have you checked for artifacts using atitool? I have to lower to 800/1000 to get no artifacts at all. But at 825/1000 i just get a few, though these would not be seen easily as they come up once or twice in a minute, i am scared over a duration it may damage the card. If you can please let me know what is the highest you can achieve withough no artifacts for at least 5 minutes, that would be great. Btw, i used atitool 2.7 beta 3. I am not sure if these is a 2.8 out there.
Cheers.
I havent tested ATi tool, I will do when I get some drivers that work for it that are not 8.8's. Before the flash I was running 825/975.
Can SOMEONE try 3DMARK06 and 3DMARK VANTAGE and confirm if you have stuttering, if so its this BIOS.
No when frames go low it dont usually do that all the time, it was like frames skipping too, happened at like 40fps too.
BTW in ATi Tool at 1100 I get errors almost instantly. This bios needs modding for 1000, its not good having it at 1100.
Does anyone also have stutters in Furmark, I have always got that, need something to test for stability yet it stutters no matter what clocks. Also stuttering in 3dmark happens wayyy more when overclocked.
