Just wondering about the open beta coming with the collector edition.
Is it only available to the online shop listed on the official website? Because i found a online shop in Switzerland that apparently sells collector edition but i'm not sure if they get the open beta keys or just the collector?
 
I thought everywhere had sold out of the collectors edition ?

You could always ring the company up and find out :D
 
well apparently they are not sold out but i guess the deal with the open beta key is not for them... i emailed them i'll see

I know couple of my mates are a bit gutted they didnt preorder the CE said meh it wont sell out il just get one on the day lol. Having said that the way HMV have handled the whole preorder CE boxes i can see a lot of people who preordered through HMV might be dissapointed. I just have a feeling that there will be CE editions sitting on the shelf on release day, people who havnt preordered it will buy em and those who did preorder them and arrive later in the day will miss out.

Can i say HMV on the forums ? or should i change it.

If you use a CE headstart code, you'll have put in in a CE keycode to be able to continue playing on the CE headstart. Just wanted to point that out in case you got the pre-order CE pack and then decided you wanted to sell the CE and buy a SE.

I tend to agree regarding the graphics which will be the only reason why I will not be playing. I wish I was less picky because the rest of the game appears great, but you know it is a MMO and you going to be spending allot of time staring at that screen. It is like WOW all over again, which I played for about 2 months, in that I could see that it was one hell of a game but just could not deal with the graphics.

My loss.

Thats ok, the devs cant please everyone. Look at it on the plus side, you've saved a bit of money :)
 
hmm it looks quite nice on the US beta, you must be REALLY picky about graphics i must say. Sure it will not look like Crysis it is a mmo !

About my collector edition issue, the online store emailed me back and of course they realised that their editor will not be giving them collector edition and they are removing the item from their website :( shame on me !

strange as you don't even have a system that will manage top notch graphics ... being too picky imo ;)

Well I remember people saying LOTRO looked like WoW :rolleyes: :p and to be honest I think WAR looks like a WoW LOTRO lovechild but thats not really a bad thing IMO

It will run smooth (low frames brake immersion for me) and look decent whist having bags of charachter :)
