UT 2004 or UT3

About 1 hour remaining till I can play it, are there any ut2004 players still in here? Anyone want a 1on 1 deathmatch soon or something ?
 
Even though UT2004 has quite dated graphics, it's still an exceptionally fun game. That paired with the mods makes it a great buy.

Ah the fault was it brought up a dx9 installer window and I didn't see it, wants to update my dx9 even tho I have the latest dx9 and dx10 runtime...
 
Wow bunny hopping is terrible on mp lol the top guy keeps hopping and I can't seem to get a 1:1 KDR.

Against the AI I'm still the same as always ''just 1:1'' on ''inhuman ai''.


EDIT: On istangib with 1 shot kill shocks, i can beat the ai on inhuman easily, guess I'll need to practise normall mode a bit more.

Movement is as important as accuracy when playing against humans.

Learn how to move around quickly (bunny hopping is the most basic kind of fast movement...Assuming it's like Q3 you've got strafe/circle-strafing and iirc ut2004 also has that weird double jump/dodge system). Learn where the power ups are and control them - if you've got the +100 health booster and a more powerful weapon, your opponent could have better movement and accuracy than you and still lose to you in a 1v1.
 
The Rev and Fishthrower all in 1 thread:) You can now add CoolHandLuke! anyway back on topic UT kicks 2003&4 hands down:) I tried 2003 and never got into 4, maybe I'm older and have lost interest in playing online. UT still rocks.
