just flashed mine, will see how it goes

Looking at that picture, there is no change in the voltage ... 1.2625v, same as any other HD4870

Nice cooling Will but that is one ugly MF of a card.:D

I thought it looked quite cool :p

I would wait for the new one it looks the business.

Nah, Rev 2 + some decent 92mm fans is good, 2x 120mm fans would be better tho, might try that.

Yea I thought that, but am deffo more stable and get higher clocks with the BIOS.

So far 10 people have downloaded the BIOS. Could you guys share with us your results? Was you able to get more of an OC from this BIOS? Any stablity issues?

For me they have been rock solid. Only had a problem when I overclocked too much once, thats it.

Will this bios be worth changing to if you have stock cooler never flashed a bios on a gpu so any info would be great .Also im on cat8.8 so will i have to reinstall drivers after update

Hi Everyone,

Didn't really want to start a new thread for this, but does anyone know of a good Overclocking and fan control utility that works on vista 64 apart from CCC?

ATT needs too much messing about for my liking, and i get the "display driver not responding" agro when using CCC.

Can't wait for riva tuner!

Any help would be appreciated

Hi guys, I know this is a bit off topic but I was just thinking, is there any drawbacks to running the card at lower clock speeds then default? For example, right now I have set the defaults on my card to be 500 core and 550 memory. Anything wrong with doing this at all? The advantage I would say is less power draw when idle and it seems to be a little bit cooler also.

Thanks.

The only thing I know about is the AMD tool, or thats what i remember it being called. I have not used it though. I say just wait for Riva Tuner ;)
