Muslim found guilty of child cruelty

Some nice comments coming out here from those that obviously don't know better. (I actually asked my colleague about it as I wasn't in the know about this).

How bad of that English teacher to allow giving the teddy a name of a prophet! *shock horror*. Once again blown out of proportion with the actual event.

To me anyway, it's not that bad, it's just been blown out of proportion because of the Muslim angle. Very sad really. Of course I don't think that using bladed instruments is right, but they clearly wanted to take part.

Whilst I agree to those comments to a certain extent, I'm sure there are many UK laws you don't agree with, so why don't you guys also get on a plane/boat/sub and go make your own country?

Matthew

What laws would these be then?

Exactly what has that got to do with the subject of this thread? Yes, there may be laws that we don't agree with, but we still abide by them. Agreeing or disageeing with them carries no weight with anything. Please emphasise your point.

Which ever ones in particular you don't agree with... heck there are 3000 new ones AT LEAST since labour came to power, let alone the existing ones... take your pick ;)

are you trolling ? or just playing devils advocate ?

 back at ya !

You must have some idea to be sure surely?

If you could provide an example, it would make your case easier. Certain laws will never be 100% agreed with but stopping children being forced to mutilate themselves surely can't be one of those?

I think Matthew was talking about the STAB crowd and how quick they are to STAB. If there are laws that you do not agree with or like then it is your duty as a citizen of this country to legally challenge them. You should not have to pack your bags and leave.

Although in this case no laws have been challenged and in fact the persons have been found guilty of breaking said law - but as usual the STAB crowd can't see past certain unimportant factors such as ethnicity etc.

Apparently this is a non-mandatory ritual designed to be a mourning of key Arab Muslim figures killed in battles 1400 years ago. Flailing is supposed to be a reliving of their pain, or something..

In other words, a load of un-Islamic tripe...

Anyone remember the name of Ayatolloh that died back in the 80s/90s and in his funeral everyone was beating themselves and setting fire to there wives? And there was a rampage at the funeral and his body fell out the coffin.

My understanding of it is quite bad, but I think they flail themselves now as they (Shia's) were complicit in the murder of the Prophets decendents and close friends.

That must have gone down well.

"Why are you setting me on fire?!" She says. "There's nobody there!!"

*skulks out*

The "Send Them All Back" crowd - those that are quick to shout out STAB without actually knowing what has happened, as per the OP.

Ahh you've added the word ALL to the common phrase "SEND THEM BACK" to try and make a witty and emotionally evocotive anagram.

However like most Muslims you've failed at the funny.

I thought the split between Sunni\Shia Muslims was originally over the Prophet's relatives, and the other differences didn't come about until much later?

I'm no expert of course (merely an outsider with an interest since I was brought up by the same faith of people).
