Sent my Wii off for repair, basically the Wii was noisier than the TV when playing a game.

I sent the Wii off, got it back today and it's louder than before and won't accept discs now.

It's out of warranty but this is a joke, I was all happy to pay to have it repaired but now it's in a worse state.

Surely this is worthy of a brand new Wii direct from Nintendo?

Customer Service Problem? To the INTERNET!

Have you phoned them back up yet to explain what's happened? I doubt it warrants a new console, more like a more competent employee.

Yeah, Nintendo Customer Service sucks. They outsource it all and the guys they outsource to have absolutely no power to help you.

Fixed :D

Give them a ring up and explain the situation thats the only way, e-mailing them usually never works.

I gave them a ring, said there was a label in the post, first class!

Yippee AND It's a priority fix, doubt it'll make any difference.

Microsoft are muppets but they get the job done and give you free stuff as compensation.

Nintendo's outsourcing company don't get the job done half the time and don't have the powers to give people compensation when things go wrong.

Unfortunately its the customer service which sucks. I have had a fiasco trying to find out whether my Xbox 360 has the extended warranty or not, money has been taken out my account but if i ring their indian service up they cant understand what i want. I would rather not disclose several pages of a dispute with them but anything "non RROD" related gets them in a hissy fit :D.

OP - write to whereever you bought it from telling them you want a refund or repair or replacement under the Sale of Goods Act.
