Never given blood, have considered it before myself but apparently if you have diabetes can't donate !

I give every 4 months, but have never had that letter.

Last time (my 10th btw) got down to 4 mins 18 secs. which is my all time record. Next session is on Xmas eve, so that should put me in the festive spirit.

The nurses were telling me that their vans had been vandalised and the catalytic converters nicked so they had to hire vans for the day to deliver the blood to the hospital. Some people are evil.

Please, everyone who can - give blood and feel like a better person.

I would imagine them slicing your vein through and squeezing your blood out of it like the end of a toothpaste tube is quite painful, yes.

I would imagine them inserting a very thing needle into your vein and sucking out a small amount of blood is not very painful, so no.

As much as a single small needle puncture in an arm vein.
That is to say ridiculously little, but some weeds will have you believe you personally suffer the entire agonies of the whole holocaust. Just go and do it, if it hurts you have my permission to chin the nurse.
