Tattoo t'experts!

Honestly? The design does nothing for me, but as others above have said - if you like it and it has meaning to you then go for it.

I don't expect everyone to like it :) - some will think its ****, tacky, whatever. I love it and can't wait to have it :D

Enjoy getting t'spine done :p, bloody hurts haha.

Quite like t'design too, different sort of tribal design. Wouldn't get it myself mind, I like weird things lol. But I don't think it will cost that much, or take TOO long, as the lines are quite thin, so once the outline is done, shouldn't take more than a couple of sessions to get it filled in fully.

Hehe, should be fun! :) I'm sure I won't be thinking that when he hits the spine but theres not much to do on that so never mind.

Now your 'unique' tribal tat is on t'internet.....congrats. If it's that unique and personal, I'd take it down sharpish.

Nobody else knows what it means to me. If other people find meaning in it then good luck to them...but it's not THAT unique asin I've spent months crafting it. I copied it off something :) - but its the only one I've seen...

What's so rare about it, just looks like any other tribal tattoo shop wall/book stuff to me, i don't mean to sound belittling, im just curious :)

I've been looking at upper back tribal stuff for a while and I haven't seen this design...at all anywhere.

Truth be told it came off an old T-Shirt given to me by a good mate of mine. The design is basically what I'm after so I flattened it, took a picture, and then traced it in photoshop. :) When looking around I couldn't find anything I wanted perfectly, and this really fits the bill! :)

And the spine is very painful!!! I say that as you'll expect hell and then when it happens you'll be pleasantly surprised. Seriously though, ouch.

I have to disagree with this, when mine was done on my spine it was the least painful
of all my tats. I was nearly asleep and was slobbering on the chair while it was done.

Likely to cost a lifetime of regret. :(

I am DEAD against tat's (which is not the issue here) but if you are to get one, get one YOU design, so at least it means something, and you won't see someone else with the same thing.

Exactly my sentiments. The only people who should have tattoos are armed forces, whores and lorry drivers.

Stupid fad.

Tattooing has been a Eurasian practice at least since Neolithic times. Ötzi the Iceman, dating from the fourth to fifth millennium BC, was found in the Ötz valley in the Alps and had approximately 57 carbon tattoos consisting of simple dots and lines on his lower spine, behind his left knee, and on his right ankle. Other mummies bearing tattoos and dating from the end of the second millennium BC have been discovered at Pazyryk on the Ukok Plateau.[citation needed] Tattooing in Japan is thought to go back to the Paleolithic era, some ten thousand years ago.
