Well, I for one have been spurred on and have spent nearly £300.00 during the period of this offer, and it definitely tipped me over the edge to click 'Buy' in both cases.

Think Im goping to miss this, however Im more interested in saturday delivery. What time do I need to order by to get stuff tomorrow? or have I already missed it? Really want a new cpu n motherboard to play with over the week end.

Free shipping is till 16:00hrs today.
When I tried to link my forum account to my order (to enable free shipping) nothing happened. However, when I rang OCUK they said not to worry place the order and they would refund it.

how about the 10% vouchers you have been handing out to people who havent bought from you lot for a while,just hope the free shipping wasnt a one of offer because people who had spent a fortune at overclockers found out about others who spent nothing getting the discounts,i.e10%,i think we will see no more offers like this,IMO

free shipping made me purchase. its opne thing taht puts me off using overclockers is the shipping charges. especially wen you only want a small purchase and the shipping ends up being so much. for instance i just bought a pair of headphones with a larger order and love em was going to get a spare but im not if i have to pay shipping as they make it to costly.
one think you may want to consider that a lot of places do is free shipping but that method takes longer ie not next day its kinda when ever it gets to you normally 5 days or something.

Yep, quite often in my office you'll hear "just ordering from Overclockers - anyone want anything" so we can split the shipping. I hope the data from the trial is favourable, as with such an active and enthusiastic forum I'm sure in the long run free delivery will greatly reduce the numbers of folks using competitors - and increase the number of small purchases. For example - I'd *always* buy a fan from OCUK if the shipping were free - but the high street gets my cash for things like this because of the postage. I'd be happy with 5 day postage for small items...

thats exaclty right credo. i was surprised the free shipping was actually a next day service. this must have cost overclockers a bit, how ever free shipping via cheaper longer method wouldnt cost em as much and would encorurage purchasing of smaller orders.
Free shipping won't make me buy something I didn't want. A sales promotion will do that, or keen pricing.
Free shipping will make me more likely to buy something I want from OcUK rather than from somewhere else.
Let OcUK crunch their figures and see if this has worked for them, and let them work something else out if it hasn't.
