Mine was hacked a few weeks back, I sent an email to Microsoft customer support and they were excellent. I couldn't remember my secret question OR alternate e-mail.
In the end I had to answer questions such as -
The IP I used most frequently to log in.
My screen name on MSN messenger.
The e-mail addresses of some of my MSN contacts.
The last time I was logged in.
I had my account back after about 3 days![]()
Certainly improved then!![]()

Try going through the "Forgot password" program on the Hotmail site, I can't exactly remember the e-mail address I used to contact Microsoft but it should be on there somewhere. I'll try and find the e-mail I used in the meantime.
Hey All,
How does one go about dealing with a hacked MSN account, when both password and memorable information have been changed.
Is there a number you can call?
Silly Mothers...
Dan
It's impossible to "hack" an email account, what you meant to say was you gave someone the password.
Or someone guessed it? Or you left it on another PC?It's obviously been done by some sort of spyware... no password was given out.
Do you use msn messenger?

Have you added anyone recently that you don't know and isn't replying?
There was a massive thing back a year or so back about people being added then suddenly being hacked. I myself am getting numerous invites by non-english speaking people that I'm dubious about. It's a possibility.
Not that i recall to be honest, i am assuming it was via MSN
5pm last night was fine, went out and got drunk and tryied to log on this morning with no luck.

Being keylogged is being "hacked" in pretty much everyones eyes.
