Too far over the line

You know there is a difference between thinking someone deserves to die and condoning the death penalty?

surely if you thought somebody deserved to die then you would also be condoning the death penalty, and vice versa if you condone the death penalty you would also be of the mind that people deserve to die?

This makes me sick, how could she do such a thing.

They should think of a different punishment, the death penalty (electrocution) would be too quick and not painful enough.

Not really, you could think someone deserves to die but don't think that state has the right to deserve who lives and dies.

I would find it strange that someone would think someone else should deserve to die yet not support the death penalty, seems a bit illogical?

Still doesnt mean its right, These types of people should die a slow horrible death, if they are mental, retarded or what els...

Why should they? That servers no purpose other than to show you're just like them.

Would you be having the state appointed torturer killed as well?

Don't really know what to say in reaction to hearing this, completely insane though.

"Was worried what the bf would think" - pathetic tbh.

Disgusting. It's things like this that remind me why I support the death penalty.

And what reason is that?

So much ignorance in this thread and so many people thinking with their reactional emotion; anger and hatred, rather than logic and rationale.

This discussion should go at lot further than simply what we deem to be right and wrong, and the punishments for doing wrong. We should also be thinking about what caused her to do this, and why she did this, psychology and the nature our of existence, how we function and think, and the problem of free will.

or the fact that shes mental and put her baby in the micro?

And as far as I'm concerned, you'd no longer be a human being the moment you ended her life to satisfy your own morbid desire to kill.

Well thats you're opinion and you're entitled to it.
I don't have a desire to kill, I have a desire for justice in this case.

It seems in most peoples eyes murder is a crime no matter what, unless you are a politician, or a policeman.
