How Do I adjust the refresh rate

On my monitor? I am using a Toshiba satellite pro laptop. When I go into properties I can only see the 60 hz refresh rate, is it not possible to up this?

Yup, LCD's are different to CRT's, the pixel doesn't fade before it's "lit up" again, so no flickering and no need for higher refresh rates.

yep, leave at 60Hz, it's the optimum and recommended refresh rate for a TFT
