tonight at night class!

I know what you mean. It's similar to when a colleague will say something along the lines of "oh we just got this PC/laptop, and it will play any game and can do anything you want etc etc. We got it for £500 from the highstreet."

You feel obliged to just say "yeah it sounds good." even when you find out its got 768mb and a fx5200 !!

I made the mistake of starting conversation with some guy reading a PC hardware mag on a train once. Never again.

He started rattling off model numbers and allsorts to me... I was like "FFS The whole train now thinks we are a pair of goat ravaging computer bum invaders". :(

You flatter yourself. On a train, nobody cares enough to form an opinion, they have their own little world to attend to.

I had this in college, Yeah its a given I was on a computer course.

But certain things should be left unsaid at times. For instance, When you're out on a friday night, In the middle of a pub with pretty girlies dancing around... It's not the best place to map out WOW strategies.

When walking through town on a nice summers day, and the girls are all half naked. Don't start having conversations about WOW strategies.

I had a friend, Loved WOW, and he brought it up as often as possible, Which is fine. But it's embarrassing when mentioned in certain places.

WoW Strategies are important.

We have them where I work. Chavvy types bragging about having a full 2GB of RAM and then when you mention that 2GB is pretty standard these days they come out with the classic "er, but this is DDR so I really have 4GB" line!

You don't want to say anything, but inside you're creased up with laughter. :p

I have 4GB of DDR2 so does that mean I really have 16GB?

Speaking of memory (RAM), I found it hilarious when I was speaking to my work colleague about computer specs. He was interested in mine and ask how much memory my gaming laptop have, I said 2GB. To which he replied, oh... that's enough for gaming? I have 80GB and it runs like a dog.

Couldn't help but laugh my head off.

Seems most people try to pretend they know more about it then they really do, and will start puffing if you retort back. I guess either because of jeaously and/or showing there ignorence and they know they've been shown up as a fool.

I hate ignornat people who don't realise how stupid and ignorant they are, and won't listen to sense.

Granted, you all think that I hate everyone, but people like that annoy me the most :p
