cod 4 no servers

hello all
and good sunday morning !

ive just patched cod 4. all 7 of them till it reach 1.7 the latest
just put the boy down for his morning sleep and i was ready to kick ass on cod. eerrrrrrr no, it doesnt show any servers in multiplayer !
any ideas why this is
worked ok as of 2am this morning with no patches installed

Any filters on or anything. Seems a bit odd...I've been playing it today with no issues.
 
The patches for this game are a disaster for some people. I include myself in that.

Either you patch and servers show at incredible pings (1000+) or they don't at all. I've had this with about 3 patches (admittedly 1.3, 1.4. and 1.5 I think)
 
I'm getting no servers either. It was working an hour ago.

I can still connect manually and through xfire. I just can't get any servers to come up in the ingame server browser.

It was literally fine an hour ago. I joined a game through the server browser.. played till the end of the round and then went back to the server browser and nothing. Says waiting for response from master server ... and then it just comes up with the refresh time.

You only need to install 1.6 then 1.7

Make sure you set all the filters correctly and have it set on internet, then hit refresh.
 
Hey Paulus, is that your COD4 name as well? If so, I think I was playing against you last night for a bit.
I use the name Tripnologic and I was fooling around using nothing but a pistol.


Edit: A quick scan of a few COD4 forums shows that there are a bunch of other people having the exact same problem right now. Must be a problem with the master server or something.


Edit again: I have servers showing again. Yay!
