A mate at work pointed it out to me.

www.skoda.co.uk - click on New Superb.

I think its not a bad looking motor with a decent set of options. And no I will not be buying one as I am quite happy with my S3 - this Skoda just looks like a good effort.

What do you think?

I think it looks good, should depreciate nicely too.

Engine offerings are a bit poor though.

Should make the trip home from the pub in a taxi more comfortable :D

They really should drop the 105bhp 1.9TDI engine and suprised they are dropping in a 1.4T engine in such a big car although probaly quicker than the 1.9TDI.

got a very cool boot, open it normaly it a saloon, press a button and it opens like a hatch back. the one ive seen looked very nice. soo much room in the back too.

Park Assist? Cue owners not using their noggin, reversing in to a space, and blocking other people in :p

I thought Renault or Peugeot (can't remember which) were supposed to be introducing this feature soon?

It definitely looks better in the flesh than in pictures - the front looks a bit awkward in pictures. It's not beautiful, but like all Skoda's it is delibrately unoffensive.

I first saw one in Prague airport a couple of months ago - they had one on display in the terminal. I was with a friend who has an Audi A6 and he said it seemed as well put together as that. It just a bit of a shame there's isn't a 6 cylinder diesel and no 2.0T the bridge the gap between the 1.8 and the 3.2 V6.
