K is this a good score on 3dm06
the spec
intel c2d e2060 1.8Ghz over clocked to 3.1Ghz (temps = idel 45c load 68c ish)

GeIL 2GB PC2-6400C5 800MHz Vale Ram (ram is overclocked to 833Mhz)

HD4850 512Meg (stock)

GigBitye p965 DS3.

vista 32bit

res 1280*1024

THE SCORE

the cpu speed will be causign you to get that sort of score.

you could put a 4870 in your pc and it would make not much difference on 3dmark06.

try downloading and running the free run of 3dmark vantage that will show you the difference.

this is the score i get using 3DMark Vantage

res was 1280*1024 and preset to performance

is it ok or is it underperforming ?????

i would say thats a bit low

my 8800 Ultra scores 6956 in the graphics score on performance preset in vantage.

Yours is 6387.

I would have thought a 4850 would have been faster than my 8800 Ultra which is jsut an overclocked 8800 GTX really

3d mark 06 does not score new ati cards as well as it should do compared to other cards. you need vantage to properly bench the new ati cards.
