gym and warts

That liquid nitrogen they spray on them at the doctors is sooo painful; my wart would burn for days. Not only that but they used to come up in huge blood blisters as well.

Mine was srpayed on like PaulStats for periods that felt like forever.

Off the shelf freezing devices such as Wartner just don't get cold enough (more of a problem with verrucas but also applies to warts.)

Yes they do get cold enough, I used wartner when it first came out on a wart on my arm and it had disappeared within 3weeks - it was a BIG one too, but i used to constantly cut it off my warm and hack it to bits with scissors(i used the wartner on it before it was proply healed before and the flesh stuck to the pad and when i had to TEAR it off it didnt half make a painful mess)
2 Exs have used it on verucas with success too. Spot on stuff, loads better than bazuka

Ummm from what I remember it was in a pressurised cannister with a nozel and a trigger that when pulled would spray a very localised 'jet' of very very cold stuff and he would do so for periods up to maybe about 20-30 seconds.

bah! you big girl! that doesn't even sound like liquid nitrogen, more like a cold gas ; real men do it with liquid nitrogen at -196 degrees ;)

Real men use conc sulphuric acid. You need to mask off the skin around it of course, but otherwise it's supposed to be pretty painless (and I've seen someone do it as well...)

M

lol - i've had sulphuric acid on my skin, and even on my face, and damn its the most painful thing ever!

you sure it's a wart as that would be pretty much un heard of. Is it not just a blister/hard skin. From the friction on the bar.

hate warts

had one on my wrist and spent weeks using bazooka stuff trying to get rid of it. in the end i stupidly cut it off with a little knife when drunk. the amount of blood was a bit silly ! when it came back a few years later i was sensible and got it froze off

Crazy as it sounds but it worked for me is to use insulation/electricians tape (aka duct tape in searches, have a google about it).

I'd tried a couple of OTC remedies with no luck. This method got rid of a nasty one on my finger in under a week - and I only wore the tape in the evenings in the house and when sleeping.

So when the majority of the medical profession say not to bother with it... you know better?

Warts are a *****!

I have one on the palm of my hand, but that's nearly gone now. Just ye olde generic Wart.

On my foot, I believe I have a Plantar Wart, which grow on areas where pressure is the highest. As such, it grows into and under the skin, as opposed to outwards. It's been impossible to remove so far, and things like Wartner just wouldn't work.

My family think I might turn into that Tree guy (I was in the far-east when I caught them). :( :p

I have a Plantar Wart on the sole of my foot, and it just wont go - tried everything, quite the annoying!

I remember getting a wart on my ankle frozen off when I was about 12 with this method. Was mental! I'm almost certain I was told it was liquid nitrogen.

you don't get liquid nitrogen in pressurised canisters, so i doubt it.

I'm fairly sure you do matey, this was the sort of thing my dad would fill up in the afternoon in the hospital and by the next morning it had all seaped out.

I'm certain he refered to it as liquid nitrogen, i'll take his word over yours methinks.

i had something like that a bit back, ended up literally cutting it out, which was rather painfull
