All New Summer 2008 Transfer Merry Go Round/Rumour Mill

I thought he just didn't get on well with his team and the manager? As someone else posted, he openly said he was looking forward to moving on to a bigger club or something like that. I think he'd be okay at United. :)

id like to see him try and throw one of his tantrums when rooney or ronaldo dont put the ball exactly where he wants it

still sad to see him go tho :(

He will be a great little player, ask Weebull

Yeah but all we have got so far is Pav for Keano, we need a proven player to replace Berbatov. He prolly will be a good player, but at this moment in time we need someone with experience and who is proven.

At the Man Utd Fans aren't you worried he might get up0 to no good i.e. Disrupt players and sulk about?! No doubt he's great player but he seems to sulk most of the time!

To be honest, when I observed his presence at Spurs, he was actually a pretty calm and patient player and what got him eventually displeased(though it sounded more like media interpretation of him being annoyed) was the period of constant chronic goal-conceeding problems that Spurs experienced. Having said that, when he finished his first season with Spurs he was rumoured to leave as much as he is now. However,he kept on being convinced that the team will make it in the top 4 next season so he stayed and was happy at Spurs but everybody in the club knew it clearly that if the team doesnt reach this target, Berbatov would be out sooner or later. This was therefore like an unwritten contract clause that if Spurs doesnt perform well, Berbatov will get the green light to move. As we all know, Tottenham failed miserably, Jol(who was one of the people to convince Berba) got sacked, Keane got sold so this whole thing was a matter of time.

In other words, I would also take Berbatov as greedy primadona, judging by the latest news around him but this story is a bit more complicated than that.

:D

You have signed Pavlychenko haven't you?

Im hearing 20 million + Campbell

Pav is cup tied for the uefa also we need a backup just incase he or bent gets injured

if it really is 20mil + Campbell then i will be REALLY ANNOYED
but i doubt it as no way in hell would Levy agree to that

probably something like 28-30 + Campbell

If thats true - thats a good deal for both clubs (as long as there arent add ons going to Spurs)

I thought the same. I think Campbell could be a seriously good player. I said 20m + Campbell would be a great deal to a mate who supports spurs, but he'd prefer the money. Greedy sod :p

Madrid have confirmed they've accepted City's offer for Robinhio, hopefully he'll see sense and not agree personal terms..
