What films have you switched off?

After reading the sci-fi recommendation thread I got Solaris (2002) and just watched it tonight. I held out until the end but I was shuffling a lot and tbh didn't enjoy it that much, but I held out and refused to turn it off.

So - the point of the thread - what movies (DVD style - not just a random flick on the BBC at 1am) have you quit on?

I've only ever done 3:

Napoleon Dynamite
Mean Streets
Natural Born Killers

And yes, I will revisit them (maybe) at some point ;)

3:10 to yuma, couldnt understand what they were bloody saying.

I will watch it someday though and try to understand as much as i can...

Off the top of my head -
So Close
Safe House (got patrick stewart in it)
Smokin Aces

Probably been a few more but if they're that bad that I switch off then I'm not likely to remember them :D

What? 3:10 to Yuma was awesome!

See, a lot of people rave about how good this film is, but honestly thought it was a pile of rubbish. Still managed to finish it though. The only two films which I simply cannot bare to watch that spring to mind are:

Spice World the Movie (An old housemate put this on all the time! I think it got microwaved or thrown out of a window in the end.)

Daredevil (I literally got agitated when my dad wouldn't change the channel, it was that bad.)

Napoleon Dynamite is one of my favourite films of all time. :p

3:10 to Yuma had a totally different feel to what I was expecting, but Christian Bale and Russell Crowe were reason enough to watch it. Transformers was also really good I felt. Although, if you didn't see it at the cinema, I can see how someone would be underwhelmed.

I don't think I've ever turned a film off before the end. Although, I feel ashamed that I allowed myself to watch the Lawnmower Man 2 all the way through.

I don't think i've ever given up on a film that i've set out to watch, obviously if i'm channel surfing i'll drop in on stuff and then move on, but when i buy/rent a dvd i stick with it till the end. There are several films out there i'm glad i pushed through because they ended up being very rewarding, but there are some i really wish i had given up on my 'always finish' ideal and just done something more productive:

Magnolia
Steam Boy
Brick

And the winner of the 'holy crap, why did i bother?' award goes to:

The Jackal
