Well it's at least £40 cheaper than other x2's and around £53 more expensive than the cheapest 4870 ...
but problem is will my hiper 580 r handle it ?
I wouldn't want to put a hiper psu near components worth more than 2p. So, on that basis, no.

could you explain your self sir?
The Hiper 580 was/is rubbish. A mate of mine well placed in tech support told me they had one of the highest failure rates in terms of customer returns.
Unfortunately I only found this out after mine blew up. Plugging one into a high-end PC is asking for trouble imo.
They're a nice shiny shade of blue though.

Yeh Hiper are't the best. I'd get a new PSU and a 4870 if you can't afford the whole lot

My hiper type r has served me well for 2 years now but my pc does not run many things that require lots of juice and it will stay that way hearing all the bad press about it. If you want an x2 buy a higher spec psu.
