My mums 6' and my dad 6' 4".

I am shorter than my mum though, and heard that male children always end up taller than their mum. Is this just an old wives tale?

and no, im not adopted before anyone thinks that!!

Well it cant actually be 100% true if you are shorter than your mother, so i guess its gotta be an old wives tale

Hedge is right, logically if you are not taller than your mother then all male children cannot end up taller than their mothers (exceptions disproving rules and all that) ergo it's an old wives tale.
