London at Night - Stunning Images.

Where he did take these shots from? a helicopter? How did he long the camera steady in a chopper? These are long exposures aren't they?

I don't read tabloids, i haven't read papers in years.

Its based purely on experience, every time I go to london for more than a few hours I honestly feel like topping myself.

I went down to brixton for a gig once and I got ripped off £20 when I went to buy some dope. When I tried to get it back the bloke pulled a knife on me threatened me and then walked off. I thought, lovely city, really.

you're buying illegal drugs and you whinge that the whole of london is horrible just because of said drug dealer pulling a knife on you? You're hardly the law abiding citizen then?

I was wondering this myself. Must've been a helicopter, and no these aren't long exposures. He must have some very impressive kit to get such good shots! I'd guess a Nikon D3 along with 50mm and/or 35mm f/1.4 lenses.

Might be worth reading the paragraph of text at the top of the webpage. ;) :p

I shoot at night using the very latest digital cameras, mounted on either one or two gyro stabilized mounts, depending on the format of the camera and length of lens I'm having to use

I guess they must be a few second exposures, doubt you could get those shots even wide open. Lovely photos though, love the Eye one and the M25 one.

To the prat moaning about London, you got £20 nicked by a drug dealer; seems you got your just deserts. Try coming to London to see the nice parts and you may find things are quite different.

You'd think so, but look at the roundabout shot. No motion blur at all on the cars. Like I said, amazing equipment needed to do that.

What do you expect in brixton ,thats where they were hacking off cops heads during the brixton riots .
If you're buying drugs well ,what a surprise :D

#13, "A junction on the M25 motorway" is fantastic. Are all your motorways lit for the entire extent like that?

Not all, some are well lit near busy exits/entrances or through cities. Some can be very dark.

It's more likely that it looks so bright due to a long exposure time and all the car lights.

Yea, I hate cities where people go around buying drugs cash in hand off people in alleys.
