Took a lot of poking about and a great big push but we've finally got a grotty Visa GTi to start and my god is it a hoot! It's a weirdly capable hot hatch from the 80's that were rare way back when because they were ugly, crap and French. It wallowed (suspension probably shot), it clunked (bushes probably shot) and it grinded (gearbox probably shot) but the engine pulled and revved hard and despite its years still put a huge smile on our faces. Felt boring going home in the barge.

It's like this one vvv

Awesome!!! A true underrated hidden gem.

A friend had a Visa GTi many years back, it was a fun car but had very typical small Citroen build quality. IIRC the rear axle had a narrower track than the front as standard.

I've had a few beers but wasn't the Citroen Visa rallycar a Group B car?. Worth that for the provenance alone...
:D

LOL! I can imagine Penski seeing the thread title, starting to hyperventilate/shake with shock while struggling to click the link to open it :D

I'm browsing on my phone. I was stabbing at the screen frantically for ages before I managed to hit the link.
