Test Drive Unlimited

I still rate this game, definately need to use a custom soundtrack though! I usually plug the ipod in and have that on random.
It's hugely unrealistic but the graphics are still decent and is a fun game to play.
The police are the most annoying bit in the game, can blast past them at 200mph the wrong way on the motorway whilst flashing headlights and using the horn and you're fine, but don't you DARE scuff against another vehicle!!!

I love this game!!! - Just got to expert level last night after jumping back on it a few weeks ago!
The online play is pants but the single player more than makes up for it!

Roll on TDU2!!!! :D

Picked it up from a popular auction site for under a tenner a few weeks ago. Thought it was pretty good myself, I shall consider buying Test Drive games in the future now :)

Yep I have gone back to play it again after getting bored with many of the newer games out.

Although being able to drive tha car I actually own in real life in the game does help the appeal :D. (plus its fun to max it out and see how it handles even if its completely unrealistic).

I used to play it a lot when it first came out. Still go out for the occasional cruise around the island in my RUF RGT ;)

Love this game, play it all the time! :D Fully completed it well 90 odd %, usually you see me in a A4 Touring car, silver Koenigsegg CCR or a Balloon while Murcielago Roadster, defiantly one of my favourite games.

Bump-age, purely because I've picked this up again in a bid to gold everything...
Anyone still playing this? Has there been any recent car packs? (Haven't had the 360 online in near enough a year so am not up to date...)

Currently in a Corvette C6, with stage 3 tune. It's pretty awesome for a class C. :)

Superb game but failed collosally (is that a word?) because of one feature - You cannot meet up with mates in-game, except by accident. 90% of the in-game clubs fell apart because of this and it was a frankly pathetic omission for such a top game.

Before its launch gamers wanted to ride with friends, meet up etc. That all went to pot the moment we realised that the island was split into sub-sections, which ran on multiple servers. You could go into a shop/store and come out on a totally different server.

Atari never supported the game well with regards to engine upgrades etc and just milked the game with countless car dlc's.

Man I miss driving around in my pink shelby :/

I thought it was a fantastic game, still one of the most enjoyable I've played on the 360 and that was without hardly ever playing against 'real' people'. I just enjoyed doing the offline achievements.

I play it occasionally, excellent game, have nearly all the achievements except 15 houses and 50 different cars, and the last 2 multi-player ones. There's still a rather large base of people on it whenever I fire it up.

My GT's TuThumbs if you wanna have a nice coastal cruise or race to get some achievements. ;)

I was going to get back into it, but my savegame was corrupt and i did not have the stamina to re-do everything to get where i was previously :(

^There was that daft game copy protection thing where if you copied your savegame to a memory card, it would render your main one corrupt. That happened to me and a few others on this forum and we had to start over. That wasn't fun at all.
