Thank you, Mr Darling

What does the VAT qualifying mean then? Seen this on some of the cars I've searched for slightly OT but are all 530i M sport cars auto?

Its nice to see R32's (Mk4 and Mk5) take a nose dive too, especially the Mk4 as that was way too overpriced. Most of them are now in the range of 11-12k now, compared to 14-15k not so long ago. Still overpriced though, but Mk5's can be had for 15-16k now.

You can not claim any VAT back on the purchase of a car.

I am not looking forward to trying to offload a Volvo XC90 that's 15 months old, I think I may be taking a bit of a hit!

I thought in the uk you could claim half back.

You can claim back all the VAT here in Czech republic (only on N1 rated cars)

That's crazy! It seems ridiculously cheap, especially for a BMW AUC.

The ass has blown out of the 2nd hand value of these in the past year or so. It seems to be plummeting significantly, even on a monthly basis. I wonder how long until we see the first £20k Z4M Coupe?

And the deals keep coming: -

Chat with my Subaru dealer this afternoon (who is also a client) -

2007 Impreza Sti 2.5 with 23,000 miles on the clock for £13,000.
Or
Exactly the same but 14,000 miles on the clock for £14,650.

That's some tasty depreciation right there. Unfortunately no good to me with the miles I do.
