look for a 24" or 26" monitor!

am waiting on a replacement motherboard before I purchase a 26" iiyama as I want to test it for dead / stuck pixels and return it if I get any. But will let this forum know how it goes - mb should be here next week sometime.

Iiyama were highly regarded when they made CRT's, but as of late they are regarded as more budget orientated. Samsung do a decent line of TN panels if you are a gamer in 24" form factor.

out of interest, anyone know where I can get the latest Digimate screens from, they're listed on their website but haven't found anything in the usual online shops or google. the latest 26" screen has a static contrast of 1200:1

Looking to spend around up to £270 so i guess a 26" is out of the question.
should i go for a 24" or a better 22" for the money?

Looked at the monitor for a while and the term "value" made me wonder as well.

Personally I dont know much about the company that makes them

Eventually went for it and its the best money I've spent on my PC.

I'll be honest with you I dont know how people decide how black, black actually is.
I sit in front of my monitor not way off to the side so I couldn't care less about viewing angles.

It looks fantastic to me whether its playing games, watching hi-def content or running apps.

If you need a monitor where blacks must be = to the darkness of a black hole then get the 30" Dell and pay god knows how much.
You do after all only get what you pay for and I reckon this is a bargain for the price.
