Alreet guys,

Basically, I like this tattoo - http://www.tattoofinder.com/find_tattooOne.asp?flash=12319. But one has no idea where it would be best placed. I was thinking either lower back offset either to the right/left, not hugely fond of getting tats on my chest/abs... but non the less I think it might look sweet on my mid front torso.

Not after opinions on if tattoo's are stupid here either, so if you're going to flame me... please don't :(.

That tattoo is hideous, and you're gay for just "finding one" you like on the Internet, and choosing that. Choose another!

Not front torso, the shape of your torso it won't look right.
Other than that print it, cut it to size and stick it on yourself, off to the mirror / ask your mates.

I'd go for jesus if had to get a tattoo off that site...

Otherwise sort your life out and get a random tattoo because it looks 'cool'

Aren't those "girly" places for tats?

Stop it, you're encouraging me. I have no fear of being a non-conformist to the general folks idea of being 'gay', but your opinion is taken aboard ;). I'm just after idea's of where it would best be placed! So far no suggestions have been useful :(. Don't let me down GD!

You can always guarantee that a tattoo thread will bring out all the usual trolls.

The placement will also depend on the actual size of the tattoo itself. Personally, if that tattoo you like is about 6" long I reckon it'd look OK on one of your pecs. Any bigger and you're going into back territory.

That's Just my opinion . :)

The usual arguments though.

1. It has to have meaning. 2nd post.
2. Loser for just finding a pre-made one and using it. 7th post.

Gay for just "finding one"? Stop being a complete idiot!

Are all those people that buy pieces of artwork homosexual just because they didn't get out the easel and water colours and paint them themselves?

Tattoos may or may not mean something deep and meaningful, it doesn't matter as long as the person having the tattoo is happy and enjoys their ink.

And before all the other usual comments start flooding in you don't have to be in the army, a whore or a trucker to have a tattoo these days, Get over it!

Haha yeah, that is actually gay and properly gay. Anything like that is completely OTT and explict!

1. I've got one that has meaning already, got that two years ago and I'm pretty fussy when it comes to tattoos. I'd have more if I wasn't so.
2. I'd design one myself, but when it comes to technical drawings and the imagination like that I lack somewhat. I'm hardly going down to the local tatoo shop and saying 'ooh I want that one' and deciding on the spot, I've actually saved this tattoo to a favourate, as well as one or two others (which would be more expensive!). I'm thinking about what I want and damn - I'm annoying myself on how fussy I am.

Amen dude, we're not in the 20th century no more ;). I don't care when I'm 60/70 that they've faded abit... by that time I'll of lived most of my life. As I always say, better to of lived and regret something you did do rather than something you didn't do.

Yeah it's a little difficult to make out, but you get the main design of it though don't you? :)

I've got another one which I'm definately getting across the top of my back/shoulders. But this one is a close contender! Should be between 10-12" wide maybe? These one's may cost more though, the tattoo artist I'm thinking of going with costs me £50 an hour (he's an independant artist, and a 3 month booking wait!), so it just depends on how quick he is ;).

Any of you guys know any good studio's up in the West of Lancashire?
