Is anybody going to do this ?

or are you all waiting to see if we have another Age of C ?
as in its over hyped, and then actually turns out to be very average.

personally i don't believe hype and hate it, i like to just pick up a review or play it myself.
 
i know a lot that either are stopping wow for WAR, or stopped wow long ago in anticipation of WAR. My wow sub ran out today but ive not really played it for a couple months anyway.

To be honest I'm going to try it but I'm sorely disappointed with the service we have received from GOA (or lack of).

Once I start my job I'll probably resub to Eve as well (started playing with the MPUK lot a while back).
 
3 years makes my mind hurt sometimes when i play WoW.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new exp pack and the warhammer game, still think a 40k mmo would have been better...

anywho, my sub is up soon aswell, bring on spore.
 
Yeah i'm in on WAR along with the old Celebrity lot from wow if you knew of us, various mpuk peoples aswell and all of us that play eve will be in on it. Still playing eve though but mostly skill levelling for a bit ;)


Tummy - 40k mmo is already being made, expected release is late 2010 but it sounds cool.
 
done everything in wow uptil flemnyst! the instance just wasnt fun,

got all my Brutal gear and currently sitting at rank2 in 2v2!

so nothing left for me to do, got 2 months left on my sub and certainly wont be playing it much cause on monday i got access to the open beta for WAR

so 99% ill be more then likely on WAR for the next 6 months!

WAR looks amazingly good! cant wait
 
Just echoing everyone else really.
Played WoW for 3 years now and current have Hyjal and BT on farm, not really looking to take it any further. My sub ends in a couple of weeks and I'm not planning on renewing it unless WAR is a MAJOR disapointment on release, which I really cant see it being.
 
War just looks too real for me,still want it to look a bit fake! I only recently(few months) got to 70 and have been getting geared up in kara and badge gear but a few of my mates have a lot of experience in MH/BT/SWP and can offer loads of good advice and experience.

I will welcome WOTLK when it comes,.
 
i wont be, since WAR is a pvp game there will be months and months of whining from various classes say "OMG nerf nerf nerf", where we get that in WOW its still a PvE game under the hood where pvp is optional. A game where PvP is the focus the imbalance of classes will impact on the game more.

If i decide to pick this up it wont be until xmas time, to give the developers more time to test the classes on fully loaded servers.
 
Not me, but a lot of my guild are. I suspect I'll have to find a new guild soon :(

On the positive side, I expect there'll be less 'tards in WoW once WAR comes out, so I'll be left with a better community.
 
I shall be remaining with WoW.
If it was Warhammer 40K then It might have attracted my interest.

Can't wait for WotLK. :D
 
I'm actually left WoW for WAR nearly a year ago, mainly because I had just simply lost interest in WoW. I'm not really into PvE all that much as I'm more of a open PvP kind of person, so WoW was very much beginning to bore me. I played WoW for a couple of years though and I can see how its a lot of fun for some people.

Basically put, WAR is just a much better suited game for me than WoW. Not really a question of better or worse for me, just much better suited to me.
 
I quit WoW for AoC, not coming back - playing Eve now. WoW has completely lost it's point, it's the most terrible grindfest since EQ1, but without the soul of EQ.

Hehe, well if AoC had delivered the PvP and sieging they had promised I wouldnt have been bashing them :D Shame really as other aspects of the game were good (although there was still a lot wrong with it of course, particularly content wise)
