Farcry2 release date 24th Oct

I dont think people should be going around saying oh an 8800GTX will be more than enough!!

Remember crysis, the same could well happen here, I wont believe it will be running perfectly on an 8800GTX untill we've had first hand reports on that.

I seen plenty of people thinking it would be running on high perfectly fine with there old 8800GTS's

There's a big difference between people thinking and actual using their brains to think and read.

People reading is why they got the idea, crytek themselves even made out you could be running it perfectly with a GTS640.

~30fps at 1680x1050 yeah, perfectly fine for me considering how good it looked. I only got massive "to the teens" drops in framerate if I was stood right next to an exploding barrel or whacked antialiasing on, but that game uses that ugly blur effect antialiasing anyway so I left it off.
