The new NFL season starts tonight!
Anyone going to be watching?? Any predictions for the season?

Washington Redskins @ New York Giants is the opening game.

I Can't see the Redskins winning this one, the pre-season (I know it doesn't mean that much) was horrible and they haven't really taken in anyone to really improve IMO.

Jason Taylor? He's listed as Questionable for tonight but he's a definate upgrade
 
Gonna have to go with the Giants tonight also because my m8 is a Skins fan. :D

I'm just hoping on Sunday that Matty Ice has a great debut for us.
 
I'm a skins fan and I am hopeful rather than expectant for tonight. We beat the Giants at New York with these players last season but the change to the West Coast offence will be the biggest obstacle to overcome tonight.
 
Not a bad game to Open the season.

Washington Redskins 7 - 16 New York Giants

The first half was quite enjoyable although there are some glaring holes in the Redskins secondary which they need to work on.
 
Patriots again for SB XLIII, not sure on NFC opponents this time round though.

Hoping my team (Oakland) finish .500 or above for the 1st time since SB XXXVII.
 
Hope the Bears do well this year but Grossman is far too inconsistent to be reliable so you really can't fet an offence going with a QB like that. Be interested to see how Green Bay go on this year also
 
Sort of started watching nfl last year..

Don't particularly support anyone.. but wouldnt mind being able to be kept up to date..

Any good websites people recommend?

The only games i ever got to watch were on at silly times on 5. Think i might have to get me flatmates involved in some sky sports action so i can properly watch :p

The NFL webby is actually quite good. But if you want to keep up with news on NFL, I would also suggest ESPN, Washington Post and NY Times
