Is there a noticeable difference between 2ms and 5ms? My mate is after a Samsung TFT and it has 5ms. Mine has 2ms (Samsung).

Would anyone be able to see a difference?

Some people say the 2053BW is a much better TFT because of the 2ms but i doubt anyone would notice the difference!

Is it better than the 2043BW? If so, how?

I found once they went under 15 I stopped noticing any diferences in ghosting and I'm usually very sensitive to such things, but I guess it counts where it matters most - the epeen department ;)

You will only feel the difference if you play intensely fast FPS games like Quake 3/Warsow. For other FPS games like CoD/UT/Crysis etc and all other genre games the difference is neglible.

I've been trying to get my head round this stuff recently. Response time and input lag are not the same thing. A low response time doesn't guarantee a low input lag.

Or other way because they're entirely separate.

Because advertised response times are written by marketing clowns and don't have much common with reality
Also that they have the same behavior as the fastest 24 inch TNs equipped with panels that have a given response time of 2 ms. In reality, the MB24W and 2408WFP are much more reactive than 5 ms TNs.

No way you could connect these responsiveness images to advertised response times:

And then response time and input lag are thing many use to justify accepting bad viewing angles of TN when someone wants image quality.
(while many TNs have notable input lag)
