How do you guys feel when chavs insult you on the way home? Just wondering if you're able to just ignore it and walk on...I've always done this but feel somewhat weak for doing so. When you decide how to handle the situation, what kind of thoughts are going through your head?

I generally ignore them. There is never just one, if there was they wouldn't have said anything in the first place.
 
It's not worth the bother to be honest, I quite happily walk away. That is unless they start to get physical with either myself or a friend, in which case I'm not sure what I'd do but I'd like to think I wouldn't just stand there like a lemon.

You're not weak, you're a better man for ignoring them, actually. Naturally, flashes of absolutely annihilating them with the nearest metal pole goes through everyone's heads as they're yelled and goaded at by these scrotes. It's normal. But it isn't worth it.
 
I've never had that problem either. When I'm walking back from the pub I sometimes get cars driving past me shouting and honking there horns but it never really bothers me. It's not my fault that they can't grow up.

Reminds me of the scenes from Mean Machine with the monk and his little visions of pummelling the ref etc... :D

lol, that was a funny film. He'd scream and chase the players during goal celebrations and they'd only realize he actually wanted to mutilate them long after everyone else had stopped celebrating.
 
I've never had it happen to me but if it did I'd just ignore it. No point sinking to their level + it's most likely that they'll be willing to go much further in response then I am.
 
Always ignore them, although that has got me shot with a BB gun at close range (back of the ears really hurts) and punched a few times when I was younger....but such is life....Actually I think on that occasion getting punched was the result of me not ignoring them and then ignoring them when they demanded an apology.
