*** Official Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Thread***

Knowing GOA they'll *** up the entire thing. Even their cack website stinks of a billion elements that make it all sluggish - classic hallmarks of the days when they ran EU Daoc. I'm not even excited about Sunday because I know what to expect.

get a proper torrent program like utorrent, start the download stop it once its created a folder for the download ,drag all your files that downloaded from GOA's downloader into the torrent versions folder in utorrent rightclick the torrent and hit rescan.
it will only download the corrupted parts
 
Anyone know where the official downloader saves the files? I ended up downloading from Fileplay instead as it was so slow but want to make sure I delete whatever its downloaded.
 
Account management is still not up for EU, I'm finding this very worrying due to a few reasons apart from it being GOA.

1) NA account centre was up 2 weeks before they played and it had problems, losing them a day or so - will GOA have learnt from this?
2) The amount of people who are going to be hammering the servers when it is released it getting higher by the minute.
3) No SANE company would leave it this late - surely there must be a technical problem?

I already stated that a day ago.

I also share your views.

It's very worrying, I think all the servers are going to crash once over 100,000 people try to suddenly log on and create accounts.
 
Makes me glad i decided to wait until the week after release before getting this game.

Hope its a classic game in the making, i know we need one to give wow some compition.

Utterly superb movie, brilliant portrayal of the final days in the bunker.

Bit overdone now as a gag though, think I have seen it used for everything from all your base are ours jokes , ronaldo jokes and sheff utd jokes.
 
Registrations still down, seems a lot of people are worried about this.

I tend to see it differently and will surely PMSL on the day if indeed servr does go boom :P

Played games ran by CodeMasters recently and tbh after their utterly atrocious attempts at running an MMO even if the server did die, blow up taking half of the city its in with it, reuilt the city and rebuilt servers it would probably still be faster than fixes from CodeMasters.

If its up its up, if it goes down, meh

Pretty much the same thing happened when Shrouded Isles was released, people couldn't get on to the account page to activate it, leaving it this late is just asking for trouble.
