toyota help

hello my car is toyota yaris and a while ago i scratched the paint just above the back wheel on the right. i arranged it last week to be repainted in the renault garage.

today i got the car back and it doesn't feel the same. first of all the paint job is very well done but my car feels different.

i noticed when whe the clock showing 30 km/h that it feels like driving at 10 mph?

i know my car very well and its just doesn't have the same power. can anyone offer any advice or help?

what has gone wrong? is it my fault or have i been scammed?

Well we knew something must be up when some with a Toyota had a problem!!

I feel the need to make lots of obvious jokes in my response but i will resist. Well how did u scratch the car? Was it a big enough touch to have done damage to the rear wheel?

Also don't mix and match units.

i’m just going to suspect they stolen some part and now feels like 20 year junk car but what i would like to know if he pained did he fiddle with any mechanics inside? what could have caused my 1 year old car to suddenly become so slow and clock showing inaccurate speed? it was an exterior job afterall. i had mot done 1 month ago and all was good. something is up and unable to figure out what

If it's one year old it won't have had an MOT done, I think you are suffering from mental instability

I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the car.

I steal parts from toyotas all the time, just a little while ago I half-inched the lower arms from a yaris when it was in for some painting, the owner still hasn't found out lol.

in all seriousness the only thing that would effect the feel of the car for you is if they moved the seat when driving the car inot the workshop, the car has a electric speed sender and the garage certainly would have not been able to fiddle with that.

not at all

i've been without it for 4 days only and knew what it felt like before this. i just wanted to know what could have caused this. obviously there could be thousand reasons like battery, engine connection under the bonnet but i don't have a clue. only thing i know it is drastically different. any got to phone on moday and try find out

just for a peice of mind, check the engine VIN number against your V5 document, do they match?

I really don't think they stole his engine and replaced it with a dodgy one whilst it was having some paint on the rear arch.

Goddamnit, thats why my car is so slow, the battery is only a 10bhp unit and my engine isn't plugged in

maybe not, but i was thinking more in the lines of a number plate change

I said FOR HIS peace of mind, after all he does say it feels different

but i very much doubt they done anything except repair it
