Yep. With a fully fit squad to pick from I can only think of Ferdinand, Terry, Cole, Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney and Owen that could even be considered International quality and only three or four of those actually perform on the International stage.

We're just not as good as the media and former players would have us believe.
 
For those saying certain players aren't international standard...it's because we always rely on the same players over and over again so the other players aren't brought up to standard/given a chance. And to be fair, it is Andorra...
 
1913: There could be goals, but it could also get frustrating this for England. They need to be mature and calm and the three goals I've predicted will all come in due course.

Dunno why the fans start getting mad surely if they've watched any England game in the last 6 years they'd know they will be getting utter garbage for their money :p :D

Here's a game to play at home......when was the last time you were impressed by an England performance......1966 don't count :p I'm struggling to think of many since the 5-1 Germany game :eek:
 
I'd take Downing off for Heskey, push A.Cole into left midfield with Lescott covering LB. With Heskey the focal point for crosses, I'd take Walcott off for Bentley with his better distribution. Then later probably bring Bullard on for Barry to supply some creativity in the centre and free Lampard from one of his markers.

Of course that won't happen though! :p
