Battlefield 2 + Custom widescreen resolution?

Is it possible to get a custom widescreen resolution in Battlefield 2 and have it in the proper aspect ratio/playing view/line of sight?

If so - how?

It's not a true fix but will stretch your screen a bit and you will notice your compass bieng slightly oval, looks good though.

Right click your shortcut, select properties and rename target "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

Should the +fullscreen be changed for +widescreen ??? What ive always done.
