According to war-europe new account registrations will be open from 8:30 tomorrow morning.
With the amount of keys given out, I can see the site being down for most of the day sadly.
Love the Optimism.
Theres easily in excess of 50k keys gone out, a couple of hundred thousand wouldn't be an overestimation. Even sites which are geared towards these numbers go down under heavy traffic (seetickets during event ticket release etc) so i'm definately not optimistic atm.
either way I am glad that I am already registered so I dont have to head into the jam if there is one.
I'm not denying that and it has been badly planned but I don't see the reason to get worked up over it as at the end of the day the OB is a glorified stress test and characters will be wiped once headstart begins so if we end up losing a few hours of play I'm not entirely fussed. As long as come headstart the servers are up and primed for action then I'll be happy.
I'm not worked up as I was in CBI just know how fickly people are, and such things as auth servers crashing all day (they're linked to the games login servers) might give an initial bad impression of the game.
Also if the OB in both US and EU are starting at the same time (probably not) then according to the FP countdown the Beta will start at 12pm.
Same hereI just checked my client and its finally started to patch the last bit read for tomorrow! Should hopefully be able to load it up and see if they've added more graphical options in the setting screen.
Edit: Theres a fancy new login /status screen now![]()
This sort of thing?
