Well, I wake up at 8:30 on the dot so the first thing I do will be to try and make an account. Fingers crossed I will beat the mad rush.

Well, with open beta starting sometime in the afternoon...lets say 3pm just for the sake of an arbitrary time. That gives maybe 7 hours (ish) for the new accounts to be registered. Possible.

Will be interesting to see how it all goes, either way I am glad that I am already registered so I dont have to head into the jam if there is one.

I'm not denying that and it has been badly planned but I don't see the reason to get worked up over it as at the end of the day the OB is a glorified stress test and characters will be wiped once headstart begins so if we end up losing a few hours of play I'm not entirely fussed. As long as come headstart the servers are up and primed for action then I'll be happy.

Also if the OB in both US and EU are starting at the same time (probably not) then according to the FP countdown the Beta will start at 12pm.

Same here :D I just checked my client and its finally started to patch the last bit read for tomorrow! Should hopefully be able to load it up and see if they've added more graphical options in the setting screen.

Edit: Theres a fancy new login /status screen now :D

I'm not worked up as I was in CB :D I just know how fickly people are, and such things as auth servers crashing all day (they're linked to the games login servers) might give an initial bad impression of the game.

It will be a bit later than 12pm I think, MJ said that it will be simultaneous but that they wont be starting in the US at an crazy early am time when everyone is half asleep at the Mythic HQ... so from that we can deduce that it might start at something like 9am their time, which will be something like 3pm or 4pm or something our time.

Tombstone noticed through that shot it was showing 1280x1024 ,maybe you had not changed it but are all resolutions supported .

Not everyone will be trying at the same time though. I wont be climbing out of bed before 11 on a Sunday morning WAR or no WAR. :p

55k CE pre order keys , god knos how many SE probably a 100-200 thousand and probably around 50k+ give away cd keys
 
At the end of the day, if I can't get on Sunday, I will get on Monday, no big deal, it is only a game after all. Reading some message boards it seems that people's entire lives are devoted to WAR open beta and slagging off GOA.
