*** Official Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Thread***

I know its only beta, I know this has all been said before... but WHY?

Why have they done this? The US site has been up for weeks. What possible reason did they have for leaving it untill the day the beta came out?

I remember that message from someone at GOA saying something along the lines of they are not purposely sabotaging the game. Well it certainly seems like they are :/
 
Hah, brilliant, on the wow-europe site they've posted a news item about the patch now being available.

What the hell is the point in that when 98% of people can't even register yet?
 
ok im in but it doesnt let you make a character yet or pick a server, it just shows a few options (like rez, audio etc)

if you click create [char] it just says the beta is not open yet.


so dont worry youre not really missing anything :(

Um, yes...:o

Anyway, there's a lot of rage about this. My personal view is that, whilst this current fiasco is mildly annoying, the bigger problem is that it does NOT bode well for the future wellbeing of the game in general.

If they can't get a beta launch right, what about the real launch with 5-6x more players? What about patch days and unscheduled maintenance? Doesn't look good.
 
was getting 414 message for the last hour (sporadic F5ing when i went past the laptop) now the form is asking me to pick a new nickname/login name as the one i've picked is now in use (hehe) I presume the server must have registered one of my requests even though it came back with a 414
